A really lovely earlier 20th century British waiting room style drop dial vintage wall clock.

This fine piece was in a neglected state when I bought it with a neglected case and badly damaged mechanism. Now it is in nice overall condition. The wonderful case has been hand-polished to a lovely satin glow. I have repaired, deoxidised and beeswax polished it, but there are marks throughout that I didn’t want to over-clean then loose this lovely patina and original polish. The back box is a mix of woods. The dial is a slightly aged, off- white colour and shows minor wear throughout. The brass bezel is in nice order with signs of wear. The glass is in good order.
