A very smart factory/industrial vintage wall clock. Made by RFT (Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik) in Leipzig, East Germany. This model is the earliest version, dating from the mid 1950s.

The steel case has been over-painted several times and shows considerable signs of wear. The paintwork has been cleaned and de-oxidised to enhance the colours. The cable cut-away at 12 o’clock is a bit rough. The dial is a nice tobacco colour with overall wear. The hands are all in noticibly worn order. The glass is in good order with a few light marks commensurate with its age.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
