A far less common round dial. This hand painted iron dial comes from a 18th century longcase/grandfather clock. It dates from around 1800 to 1815. Dating source: Painted Clocks 1770-1870 by Brian Loomes. Published 1994.

The iron clock dial is in really lovely condition. As you can see there is  minor wear throughout to the decoration. The white ground has overall crazing. Overall the decorative paintwork is in good order and all the colours are vibrant.  The hands are in good condition.
