This hand painted iron dial comes from a 18th century longcase/grandfather clock. It dates from around 1800 to 1825. Dating source: Painted Clocks 1770-1870 by Brian Loomes. Published 1994.
This large and heavy iron clock dial is in nice general condition. As you can see there is overall fading and wear to the decoration. Overall the decorative paintwork is in good order. The hands are in good condition.
