A superb early British bakelite school/office wall clock. Made by SMITHS in Britain in the 1940s.
The case is beautifully mottled Bakelite and has been hand-polished to a lovely warm lustre. The dial is an ivory colour and shows overall foxing. The hands are in good order. The glass is in good order with a few light marks commensurate with its age.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
