A very rare and very beautiful copper cased office/school vintage wall clock in super condition. Made in Britain in the 1940s by Ferranti.
The case is copper and is in really lovely condition for its age. It has been hand-polished to a lovely warm lustre but not lacquered so it will gradually mellow. The dial is an off-white and shows only minimal wear and overall foxing. The hands are all in good order. The original glass is in good order but has minor wear commensurate with its age.
Overall diameter 35.5cm, depth 7.5cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
