At close to 70 years old, this clock, made for the Post Office by Gents of Leicester, certainly has seen some action. She is dated on the reverse, 1952.
As you can see there is some overall deterioration to the over-painted finish, some pitting and some wear. The dial, which is protected by the original puttied-in glass, is in remarkably fine condition. The hands are in good condition. The glass shows only minor wear.
