This large clock was made by RFT (Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik) in Leipzig, East Germany and dates from the 1960s.

The spun steel disc/case is in pretty good order overall. It is finished with a textured black paint. There is a little wear. The raised hour batons and hands are anodised aluminium and show a bit of wear.

Overall diameter 40cm, depth 3.5cm.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
