This is a fine bakelite office clock manufatured by Smiths in the 1950s

The bakelite case has cleaned up nucely and has been hand-polished to a nice warm shine. There is a small crack on the case at about 11 o’clock, fortunately this is not seen when she’s up on the wall. The dial is clean with overall signs of wear and a few marks. There is just a little wear to the hands. The original glass shows a little wear commensurate with its age.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
