This is quite an unusual office/commercial clock made by Smiths for the Post Office in the early 1980s From a large collection of Post Office and other British clocks I bought recently.
The melamine case is in good order. There is some light wear and ageing but the poliched finish is very nice. The dial is bright and crisp and features the iconic Post Office fond desighed by Colin Banks. There is just a hint of wear to the hands. The seconds hand has a continuous sweep, not a jump every second. The original glass shows a little wear commensurate with its age.
Overall diameter 35.5cm, depth 6.5cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
