This British commercial clock was made in England in 1952 by Gents’ of Leicester for the Post Office. It is dated on the reverse. From a large collection of Post Office and other British clocks I bought recently.
The spun metal case has been cleaned and polished and has a lovely deep sheen, there is a small dent at 9 o’clock. The silver colour dial is clean overall. The logo and numerals remain crisp. There is just a little pitting to the rather unusual hands.
Overall diameter 35.5cm, depth 6.5cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
