This cracker was made in the early 1970s in Leipzig, East Germany by RFT (Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik) and is dated on the reverse; April 1967.

The steel case is in remarkably good condition for its age. There is a little edge wear in places but overall, superb. The dial is in nice condition and has aged to a nice even pale ivory colour. The original glass shows very minor wear commensurate with its age.
