Somethiong a little different here. A very unusual commercial clock made in East Germany in the 1950s.

The wooden case has seen some wear and probably a bit of movement from humidity over its 60 or so years. There is no damage, but overall one can see the character it has developed over time. The paint is robust and not lifting anywhere. I have retained the original fittings where possible. The dial is in nice condition for its age, it shows a bit of wear and has aged to a nice even ivory colour. The hands are undamaged, they show virtually no wear. The original glass shows very minor wear commensurate with its age.

Overall, 46 x 46cm, depth 4.5cm.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
