Clocks of this calibre come along very rarely these days, and this is an absolute beauty. Made by Synchronome in England in the 1950s.
The solid oak case has been completely renovated. It had an awful gloss green paint badly applied. This has been stripped, the case French polished and finished by hand with beeswax. You can see some signs of its former life, but nothing ugly or serious. The dial still has a lovely crisp and pright look. The cast brass bezel has been cleaned but not lacquered, do it will mellow with age, The heavy bevelled glass is original and shows minor wear commensurate with its age.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
