This is a far less common clock, and a really early version too, made in Leipzig, East Germany by RFT (Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik). She is dated on the reverse; 14th September 1950.

The steel case is in good order with no damage, there are no serious marks, but the paintwork has aged with an overall mottling. The dial is in good condition overall having aged to a nice ivory colour, there are a few minor signs of foxing. The red RFT logo has faded quite a bit. The early version, curved progile hands show a small amount of wear but no damage. The original glass shows very minor wear commensurate with its age.

Overall dia 37 x 37cm, depth 8.5cm.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
