This handsome clock was made in Leipzig East Germany by ELFEMA (Electro-Mechanics Mittweida), and she is dated on the reverse; March 1968.
The black finished bakelite case has been cleaned and polished and has a lovely deep lustre. There are, if viewed very closey, a few tiny paint marks. Removing these will damage the finish, so I decided not to do that. These are barely visible from a meter or so away. There is no damage to the case. The dial shows some foxing in places and has aged evenly to quite a bright off-white. The hands show some minor wear too.
Overall diameter 45cm, depth 10cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
