A nice clean example of the mid period clocks made in Leipzig, East Germany by GW (Gerate-Werk), this clock is dated on the reverse; March 1967.
The steel case with the classic green hammer paint finish is in great condition with modest edge-wear. There is no damage. The dial has aged to a lovely warm ivory colour and is in splendid condition with minor crazing in just the odd place. The hands show just a very small amount of pitting.
Overall diameter 37cm, depth 7.5cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
