Well, here’s a fantasticly unusual commercial clock made in the 50s by Magneta of Leatherhead Surrey in the 1960s.
The case is spun brass, heavy and of robust construction. The case has been cleaned and polished, and as you can see, not with a view to making it look new, but rather to retain as much of the patina as possible. It has not been lacquered. The silvered dial is nice and clean and the hands show a bit of wear.
Overall diameter 37.5cm, depth 8.5cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
